Welding

At Voss Engineering we can carry out MIG, TIG and MMA welding, we have considerable experience in carrying out hard facing and building up parts used in the quarrying and concrete industries.
We can weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

Our experienced welders are trained to the highest standard and are certified to EN 287 PT 1:2004. To achieve this standard our welders carry out weld tests in the vertical position which are X-rayed, ultrasonic tested and MPI tested. This covers our welders to weld plates greater than 5mm in any position.
We can arrange for welds to be independently tested by non destructive methods such as ultrasonic and magnetic partial inspection.
